Learning about blogger.com was very exciting and useful!
Blogs are a neat way to get students more involved because they love to work with technology.
This blog can be used for my math classroom to post homework assignments, daily lessons, and supplemental math resources. A forum can also be created for students to communicate with one another about questions, feedback, and other comments regarding math. This will help students because they can communicate with their peers in other periods to get a wider range of feedback. If there are students who do not feel comfortable speaking up in class, this blog is a great alternative to help them communicate in a different way where they don't feel threatened.
Blogs may help keep students accountable because as they visit the site, they can stay updated on daily assignments, lessons, and also use resource links for extra help.
I'm excited to post supplemental resources to help my students receive extra help and excel academically.

You are so right about the reluctant participant. It is so much less threatening to engage online than face-to-face.
